The Witches Three

A darkness hides among us...

These are costumes that I wore along with my sister and her husband (fiancé back then). Our original idea was to dress up as these grotesque creatures carrying plain mask, trying to blend in among humans and failing miserably. We each made our own masks. I am the toothy creature on the right, my little sister is the short twisted being in the centre, and the occultist one on the left is my sister's husband. We all wore matching black robes and carried matching white masks. And yes, that is all our real hair.

As usual, we attended a huge street party downtown and kept our whit masks up most of the time, like being a part of a masquerade. Whenever people approached for photos, we'd lower our masks to reveal our "true" faces underneath. The reactions from people were incredible and gratifying. Although many were impressed (and legitimately freaked out), they couldn't exactly place what were were supposed to be. We didn't exactly have a title for what we were, but one individual guessed that we were the witches from Macbeth. I thought that was an absolutely fantastic guess, so that's what I went with for this title.

Yes, I do realise how much this looks like album art for a metal band. I think it's badass.
