Mr. Roboto and The Poly-kids

I've been doing POLYSICS fanart for as long as I can remember, but I never take them further than just simple sketches in my sketchbook. This is the one of the first pieces I'm going to share.

Obviously, this is an illustration POLYSICS, one of my most favourite bands. They are wearing their latest jumpsuit style from "We Ate The Machine" promo images.

..and who is that colourful chap in the centre? Why, it's their guardian and fellow new wave enthusiast, Mr. Roboto! The band did a cover of the Styx song back in their early days and this robot stars in the video. He has now become an icon in POLYSICS fandom.

With that said, I felt it was absolutely necessary to emulate his awesome robo-ness in an drawing. The Polysics band members are kids because when you've got a big, mecha-toy like Mr. Roboto, you can't help but feel like a child.
